Courtroom
Confessions
The case of Jorge Aponte Hernández, former director of the OGP, against the former members of the Special Independent Prosecutor's Office who brought a case against him made the news in all the media in Puerto Rico. This is the story of the lawyer who led the defense and won the case for the SIP.
I decided to swim against the current, risk my future in the public service, create enemies, and change my family life altogether. On the other hand, I also decided that justice comes first; external influences are no match for intelligence and observation; and that when you have the truth on your side, winning is the only option.
